SEATTLE, Wash. — West Seattle Rhodies FC continued their remarkable start to the 2026 USLW League season on Sunday with a commanding 6–1 victory over Snohomish United at Nino Cantu Southwest Athletic Complex.
Backed by another energetic crowd on SW Thistle Street, the Rhodies struck early and often to secure all three points and move into sole possession of first place in the Northwest Division.
Ashley Roni (#21) opened the scoring in the 5th minute, followed by a goal from Avery Nguyen (#30) in the 12th minute to give West Seattle a quick 2–0 advantage.

Kunie Hirai (#9) added two goals of her own, scoring just before halftime and again in the second half to extend the lead to 4–0. Ali Monroe (#2) netted the fifth goal for the Rhodies, while Jadyn Holdenried (#17) capped the scoring with a 90th-minute finish.
Snohomish United broke West Seattle’s season-opening clean sheet streak in the 84th minute when Mia Boltz found the back of the net. The result follows an impressive opening stretch that included wins over Tacoma Galaxy and BigFoot FC, extending West Seattle’s unbeaten start to 3–0–0 with 12 goals scored and just one conceded through three matches. Adding to the historic start, the USL W League announced its latest national Power Rankings on May 19, placing the Rhodies at #1 overall among all clubs in the league.

“This group continues to set the standard every day,” said Rhodies FC Head Coach Lyndsey Patterson. “Their commitment to each other and to representing West Seattle is showing in every match.”
The victory and national recognition strengthen the Rhodies’ position as one of the top teams in the country and reinforce the club’s goal of competing for a playoff berth in just its second season.
