SEATTLE, Wash. – On the heels of a successful inaugural season in the USL W League, West Seattle Rhodies FC is excited to announce the return of Head Coach Lyndsey Patterson and her staff for the 2026 season.
Patterson led the Rhodies to an impressive 6-2-2 record on the year, finishing third in the Northwest Division of the Western Conference, just two points shy of division-winning FC Olympia.

“We cannot say enough good things about Coach Lyndsey. She absolutely set the tone for who the Rhodies are – a group of intense, connected, and fearless women,” shared Jessica Pierce, speaking on behalf of the Rhodies FC ownership group. “Bringing her back was our top priority, and we’re excited to see the outstanding team she puts together for our second season!”
Coach Lyndsey, who once played professionally herself, brought over 20 years worth of experience to SW Thistle Street last season, and will continue to etch her name into the history books as she returns for her second season in charge of the Rhodies.

The Rhodies boasted one of the sturdiest defenses in the entire Western Conference last season, allowing just six goals across all competitions. Of those six goals, only one was conceded on home turf, as Patterson and her side turned Nino Cantu Southwest Athletic Complex into a fortress with zero losses throughout their five home contests in 2025.
